Sink Float Separation Tank
Our sink float separation tank is an essential piece of equipment for washing and separating co-mingled plasticstreams. lt's an efficient and effective machine commonly used in PET bottle recycling plants due to its unique abilityto separate PET plastic, the plastic that makes up the botle, from polypropylene (PP) and polyethylene (PE) plastic, theplastic that makes up the bottle caps and labels. Our standard size tanks are between 4-6 meters long and are equipped with specially designed rotating drums to movethe plastic pieces forward and into the water. This lengthy process allows the materials to properly separate and soakfor longer periods resulting in a cleaner material stream. To ensure the durability of our separation tanks, all interior walls and rotating drums are manufactured with high-quality 304 type stainless steel that is strongly resistant to both corrosion and oxidation (rust).
